Planting dates and cultivation characteristics
The timing of sowing seeds largely depends on the region and growing conditions. Sowing is carried out 60-70 days before planting the plants on the site.
In the middle zone, planting pepper seeds is usually carried out from the last ten days of February. For faster germination of seedlings, the manufacturer recommends pre-soaking the seed in growth stimulants (Zircon, Epin, etc.).

Banana dessert, like all varieties of peppers, loves warmth, moisture and light. However, this cultivar withstands their deficiency, showing good fruit set even when grown in unfavorable conditions.
Maximum yields are achieved with sufficient lighting, heat, water, and nutrients in the soil. Comfortable conditions for the development of the crop are achieved with sunny, moderately hot summers, regular watering, loosening the soil and applying fertilizers.
To increase productivity and as a disease prevention, all the greenery from the bushes is plucked off up to the first fork.
Cultivation care
Watering should be done directly under the root, otherwise sunburn on the fruits and foliage cannot be avoided.
- Do not neglect pinching; this procedure will help direct the energy of the bush to the development of fruits, rather than vegetative mass.
- The optimal time for planting in open ground is the last days of May. When the temperature drops to 8 degrees, the plants freeze and stop growing.
- The key to a good harvest is properly grown seedlings. Plants obtained from overgrown, yellow seedlings will bloom a couple of weeks later and, accordingly, will bear a harvest later.
Apply ammonium nitrate to the soil at a rate of 30 grams per square meter. When flowering, it is worth increasing watering. It is recommended to mulch the plantings in order to retain moisture in the upper layers of the soil.
Advantages and disadvantages

The description of Syrian strawberries sounds encouraging to gardeners and farmers - especially the yield data. The ripening time is also quite good.
Medium fruiting period, ripens 5-6 days later than Alba, 6-7 days later than Honey, in early June. So in the east of Ukraine the harvest starts from June 10.
