Difficulties of combinations
What happens if you cut a cucumber into slices and pour liquid honey on it? The vegetable will no longer be low-calorie. In this case, it is served with a large amount of simple carbohydrates, which is difficult to consider as a dessert and even more difficult to call a dietary dish.
If you eat this treat instead of dessert after dinner, please do so. The body will not suffer any harm. But if you snack on it regularly, thinking it's healthy and a source of vitamins or something else, you'll create a source of empty calories that will cause weight gain. So this combination has more taste than benefit.

Choosing the right honey
It is wrong to think that since you are doing the rolling, you can take any honey that comes to hand. You only need a high-quality, natural product, since both the shelf life of the seaming and its taste depend on it.
It is believed that young light honey is best suited for preserving cucumbers. To check its quality, you need to scoop up the sweetness with a tablespoon and then watch how it drips from it. Natural honey should flow out in a continuous viscous stream and fit into folds.
A product that has a sour smell or foam on the surface should not be taken. It is already beginning to ferment, and this process indicates that the product is spoiled.
In cases where you plan to add a lot of different spices to the rolls, it is better to use buckwheat honey.
Cucumber salad with honey for weight loss
Below we offer a recipe for a delicious salad with cucumbers and honey dressing. To prepare it you will need a minimum of ingredients, and the benefits your body will receive are simply enormous.
To start, 2-3 fresh cucumbers are cut into slices, mixed with salt (¼ teaspoon) and placed in a colander. The vegetables will release juice that will flow through the holes. At this time, a dressing for cucumbers with honey is being prepared. To do this, dissolve 50 g of natural honey in 50 ml of water. Finely chopped dill is added to the prepared dressing, after which the mixture is mixed again and combined with cucumbers.
Healthy honey
Honey is 96 percent sugars and a little bit of everything else. Yes, it has bactericidal properties and helps you recover from colds. Yes, it contains enzymes that improve the functioning of the digestive tract.
But all this is about honey, firstly, in its pure form. And secondly, since it contains a huge amount of sugar, you need to eat it in moderation.
Nutritionists do not recommend consuming more than 30 grams of the product per day, and this amount should not be supplemented with any more sweets in the diet. If you put sugar in your coffee in the morning and eat chocolate in the afternoon, then you need to eat less honey, otherwise the body will receive too many empty calories, and the circulatory system will receive too much glucose.

Sweet marinade recipe with mustard
Pickled cucumbers with honey turn out original if you add French mustard seeds to the marinade. Bee products add sweetness to vegetables, and mustard seeds have a mild spicy aroma with a slight pungency.
Ingredients:
- cucumbers 1.5 kg;
- liquid honey 100 g;
- salt 70 g;
- bay leaf 5 sheets;
- mustard seeds 1.5 tablespoons;
- vinegar 9% 50 ml.
Before you start cooking cucumbers with honey and mustard, you need to soak the vegetables. In this case, preservation is stored better. The banks do not swell. Careful sterilization of containers can also improve the quality of storage. The jars are treated with soda and sterilized over steam.
- Place mustard seeds and bay leaves on the bottom of the jars.
- Then tightly lay the soaked vegetables.
- The next step is preparing the brine. Add salt to 1 liter of water and bring the liquid to a boil.
- Pour the finished marinade into jars. The fruits must be completely in brine. Lastly, add honey and acetic acid into the jar. There is no need to boil the marinade again. Honey does not tolerate high temperatures. Acetic acid acts as an excellent preservative.
Cucumbers in mustard marinade with the addition of honey acquire a sweet floral aroma and a slight spiciness. This pickling is stored throughout the winter.

Cucumbers with honey / Vegetable snacks / TVCook: step-by-step recipes with photos
Step 1: prepare the cucumbers.
First of all, wash the cucumbers and cut off their ends. Then cut a small piece from each vegetable and taste to see if they are bitter. If you feel bitterness, you will have to peel the cucumbers; if everything is in order, then skip the peeling step. Cut the prepared cucumbers into large but thin slices and place them in a colander. Add salt, mix gently and leave to sit for 15-20 minutes. The cucumbers will give juice, which will drain through the holes in the colander.
Step 2: prepare the dill greens.
Rinse the dill and dry it with disposable paper towels. Lay the herb on a board and cut off the tough stems, and chop the rest into very small pieces.
Step 3: prepare honey dressing.
Pour the chopped dill into a bowl, fill it with honey and clean water. Mix well and cover with a lid or cling film. Let the dressing sit for the same 15-20 minutes as the cucumbers.
Step 4: Serve cucumbers with honey.
After the cucumbers have sat and released some juice, remove them from the colander and dry them with disposable paper towels. Then place them on a serving platter layer by layer, drizzling each with the honey-dill dressing. At the end, pour the remaining honey and herbs on top and serve the original cucumber appetizer to the table. Cucumbers with honey turn out to be light, fresh, slightly sweet and therefore always find their fans, although their taste is not at all unambiguous, but that’s the beauty of it. Bon appetit!
