The tomato variety Raspberry ringing is a first generation F1 hybrid.
Hybrids, thanks to the work of breeders, have higher qualities (taste, yield, storage, disease resistance) than varieties. However, they require special care and do not have the opportunity to pass on their good characteristics to offspring - the seeds from the resulting harvest are not suitable for subsequent cultivation. The “Raspberry Ring” plant is of a determinate type - it grows to a certain size, then all growth is directed to the fruits. Read about indeterminate varieties here. By type of bush - not standard. Standard varieties of tomatoes have a poorly developed root system, while non-standard tomatoes have a well-branched rhizome. The plant is compact and stops developing after fruit formation.
The stem of this hybrid is persistent, strong, from 50 cm to 100 cm in height. The stem has an average amount of foliage, about 8 simple-type brushes, each with 6 - 8 large fruits. The root system is well developed, distributed on all sides with a total diameter of more than 50 cm, without a depression. The leaves are the usual shape for tomatoes, medium-sized, dark green in color, wrinkled to the touch, without pubescence.
The inflorescence is simple, intermediate type. The first inflorescence is laid above the 5-6th leaf, then there is a gap of 2 leaves. Pedicel with articulation. According to the type of ripening, Raspberry Zvon tomatoes are early ripening; the period from the appearance of most shoots to harvest is about 110 days.
The hybrid has a high degree of resistance to common diseases - Alternaria, Fusarium, tobacco mosaic, late blight, verticillium. Designed for cultivation in open ground, in greenhouses, in greenhouses, under film.
Characteristics
The shape is round, not ribbed. Dimensions - on average about 10 cm in diameter, weight - from 150 g. The skin is smooth, thin, shiny. The color of unripe fruits is pale green, there are no spots on the stalk. Ripe fruits are pink or dark pink (crimson) in color. The pulp is fleshy, not very dense, juicy.

Important! The tomato harvest is stored in a dry, dark place at a constant temperature of about 20 - 22 degrees, without changes.
The fruits ripen well . Ripening is the ripening of still unripe fruits after picking. The fruits tolerate transportation with dignity and have a marketable appearance.
The hybrid was bred by breeders of the Russian Federation, the originator is JSC Scientific and Production Company “Russian Seeds”. Included in the State Register of the Russian Federation for cultivation in open and closed ground in 2009. The most productive regions for growing tomatoes will be the southern regions. However, tomatoes of the Raspberry Zvon variety are grown successfully throughout the Russian Federation .
Reviews about the taste of “Raspberry Ring” are only positive. Sweet, juicy fruits with an amazing aroma are consumed fresh with pleasure. Suitable for preparing salads, soups, stews. When preserved, it retains its shape well and practically does not crack (you need to choose small fruits for canning). Suitable for the production of tomato paste and tomato juice.
Tomatoes Raspberry ringing f1 bring a bountiful harvest - from 18 kg per 1 sq.m., about 4 - 5 kg per plant on average.

Care
Tomatoes need to be watered regularly
During the season, plants are fed 2-3 times. In the phase of a young bush - nitrogen fertilizers, during the flowering period - phosphorus and potassium fertilizers. In addition, the Raspberry Ring tomato responds well to organic fertilizers: manure or bird droppings.
Tomatoes need:
- regular watering with warm water;
- weeding and loosening the soil;
- fertilizing with complex mineral fertilizers;
- formation into 2 stems;
- partial pinching (leaves are removed up to the first cluster);
- tying to a support;
- disease prevention.
The hybrid does not bear fruit well and may even die in acidic soil. Therefore, you should periodically check the soil using special instruments, litmus paper or vinegar.
Determination of acidity with litmus paper:
- a handful of earth should be wrapped in gauze (3 layers) and placed in a container with distilled water;
- then shake the container and place the piece of paper in water for a few minutes;
- Next, you should compare the result with the attached scale - usually the pink color of the indicator indicates acidity.
With the help of vinegar, acidity is detected as follows: pour it on a handful of soil - if bubbles appear, then the soil is neutral, if there is no reaction, it is acidic.
You can reduce the acidity of the soil by using chalk, slaked lime, ash and saltpeter.
According to the description of the Raspberry Ring F1 tomato, it is rarely subject to diseases and attacks by parasites, and preventive measures completely eliminate them. It is especially important to treat plants with Fitosporin or Bordeaux mixture in hot or damp summers.
The harvest is harvested from the beginning of July to the end of August. The tomatoes are ripening well. They can be picked while still green and stored in a dry room where they ripen. Fruits can be stored for up to a month at a temperature of 12-13 °C.
Features of cultivation
The fruits do not crack on the plant and have a marketable appearance suitable for sale. Experts recommend disinfecting seeds in special solutions from specialized stores; you can use a pinkish solution of potassium permanganate. After disinfection, rinse the seeds in warm water.
The soil is also treated with disinfectant solutions. The soil must be fertile, oxygen-saturated, with a low acidity level. Usually, for convenience, they buy ready-made soil for tomatoes and peppers.
Diseases and pests
The variety is well resistant to most diseases. But don't wait for visits from pests. Spraying with microbiological preparations will help prevent the proliferation of the Colorado potato beetle, aphids, spider mites, thrips or the appearance of naked slugs.
“Raspberry Ring” is an excellent hybrid with beautiful, tasty fruits.
Harvesting and application
Do not allow tomatoes to overripe; remove them as soon as they ripen .
Pick carefully, without damaging the stalk and the stem itself. Dry weather is ideal for harvesting. If you picked a tomato at the stage of milk ripeness, place it in a dark place where it will ripen on its own. Raspberry ringing is used to prepare salads, first and second courses. For example, the hybrid is great for baked dishes: lasagna, pizza or julienne. The vegetable is also used in first courses: it is used to prepare borscht, kharcho or tomato puree soup.
In addition, the variety makes excellent jam. Especially if you add ginger root, citrus fruits or vanilla to it.
Interesting ! Tomato jam is perfect for meat dishes. Add basil and balsamic vinegar.
