Description and characteristics of the variety
This tomato has several names: Blush, Ruddy Tiger or simply Blush. It was created by an American breeder from California, Fred Hampel, in 2011.
The bushes are indeterminate and grow up to 2 meters. The type of inflorescence is simple, the leaf is also ordinary. From germination of crops to ripening of fruits, 90-100 days pass. Tomatoes are collected in clusters of about 14-20 pieces. The tomatoes are oval, elongated, small – 30-40 grams each. They have a two-tone color - golden-yellow skin with pink stripes and blush. The more sun there is in the garden, the more pink the fruit will be. The pulp is juicy, has medium density, sugary when cut, with a sweet taste. The fruits can be canned whole, eaten fresh, cooked in various dishes and decorated for the holiday table.
Tomatoes of this variety contain a lot of B vitamins, as well as E, A and K; potassium, magnesium, sodium, phosphorus, ascorbic acid and a complex of trace elements - iron, zinc, copper, manganese and fluorine. This makes them healthy.
Features of cultivation of the variety
The technology for growing cherry tomatoes is no different from large tomatoes. Tomato Shy blush is cultivated by seedlings. Sowing seeds in special containers is carried out in March.
At the stage of appearance of 2 true leaves, picking is carried out. To do this, use larger containers filled with substrate. Caring for seedlings involves watering and fertilizing with complex preparations. Irrigation is carried out as the soil dries in the afternoon.

Before planting, the seedlings are hardened off and taken outside for 10 days, gradually increasing the time spent outdoors. This event helps the bushes adapt to new conditions.
Strengthened seedlings are transferred to closed ground (greenhouse, greenhouse). They are planted in an open bed when the weather warms up, when the soil warms up to a temperature of +16°C.
The yield of the crop is affected by planting density. It is recommended to place 3-4 bushes per 1 m². As necessary, the stem is formed, the lower leaves are removed up to the first flower cluster.
To prevent cracking of fruits, you need to follow the watering regime, maintain soil moisture, and avoid waterlogging and drying out. It is recommended to harvest the bush periodically, from the moment the first fruits ripen.
The variety requires preventive measures against late blight. Treatment of bushes is carried out every 10-15 days and is stopped 30 days before harvesting the fruits.
Crop care involves a system of agrotechnical measures, which includes loosening the soil, fertilizing with mineral and organic fertilizers during the growing season, and hilling the plants.
Plant care
Tomato Blush requires tying to a support and pinching. To prevent the fruits from cracking and maintaining their shape, uniform soil moisture must be maintained. Plants need to be watered every day.
The ripening period of tomatoes is 90–100 days. Tall indeterminate varieties are more suitable for greenhouses, but with proper care they will produce a good harvest in open ground.
The variety is resistant to rot and fungal infections. Requires late blight prevention. Treatment should be done every 10–15 days, stopping 30 days before harvest.
Tomatoes look like small cream fingers, light yellow in color; when ripe, golden and pink stripes appear on the fruits, which makes them very beautiful and unusual. The sweet and sour taste adds piquancy and a special flavor to dishes.
Tomatoes of this variety are beautifully arranged on the bush in the form of large hanging clusters. They are an excellent variety for gourmet dishes and whole-fruit preparations for the winter. Also suitable for drying and drying.

Description of the variety
The Rumyants tomato was bred by specialists from the Poisk agricultural firm near Moscow. Since 2015, the variety has been listed in the breeding State Register of the Russian Federation. Approved for planting on all lands suitable for agriculture in the country. The tomato is recommended for protected soil. In practice, gardeners in warm regions successfully harvest crops from open beds.
The varietal bush is medium-sized, moderately branched, there are few leaves, their size is medium. The inflorescence belongs to the simple type. The plant forms the first flower cluster above the 5-6th leaf, the subsequent ones - after one. These tomatoes stand out with a rich pink color that is pleasant to the eye (see photo). Under a fairly strong skin hides medium-density pulp. It has a juicy structure, decent taste and aroma.
Attention! The weight of the largest tomatoes in the harvest reaches 300 g. On average, the fruit weighs a third or half as much.

Landing Features
Cherries are grown using the seedling method. Planting seeds in containers is carried out in February-March. Strengthened seedlings are transferred to a greenhouse or greenhouse in April-May, and to permanent open beds only with the onset of stable warm weather.
The description of the Shy Blush tomato states that it is preferable to plant no more than 3-4 plants per 1 m². Stepping is carried out as needed. It is better to form a bush with 4–5 stems. There are an average of 14–20 tomatoes on one bunch. In this case, the ripening of fruits on one bunch occurs simultaneously, which allows you to cut off the whole bunch and pick each tomato separately.
