How to grow

It is best to plant seeds of this variety in February. First of all, you need to purchase high-quality soil suitable for tomato seedlings. You can prepare it yourself by mixing sand with soil and sawdust.

Seed preparation

To prepare planting material, you should use the following method:

  1. Soak the seeds in warm water - wet a bandage or gauze, put the seeds there, wrap them, leave for 24 hours;
  2. Pour the soil into small containers, water (lightly), and press with your palm;
  3. Place the seeds in the soil at a distance of 3 cm from each other, sprinkle with a thin layer of soil, again press lightly with your palm;
  4. Water again, only more abundantly, and cover the containers with polyethylene to create a condensation effect;
  5. Place the container in a warm, dark place;
  6. After a couple of days, the first shoots should appear - then the seedlings can be placed on the windowsill.

Landing in the ground

As soon as the plant sprouts grow to 2-3 cm in height, the seedlings can be transplanted into open ground

It is important that it is already quite well warmed up, since this variety is heat-loving.

Since the Pink Fang bushes are tall, 1 sq. m. You can plant no more than 2-3 plants. Planting pattern – 40 by 40 cm from each other.

Planting process:

  1. Dig up the soil that you prepared back in February;
  2. Form small holes 5-6 cm deep;
  3. Carefully remove the seedlings and transplant them into the holes;
  4. Water lightly.

Rules of care

Basic care for tomatoes comes down to timely watering of the soil and keeping the temperature within 18-20 degrees. The lighting should also be good - the variety will develop more actively.

It is worth feeding tomatoes three times - after planting seedlings, after transplanting into open ground, and 20-30 days before ripening. More is not worth it, otherwise the plant will contain a large amount of chemicals.

Diseases and pests

Plants of this variety are susceptible to whitefly. This insect can seriously reduce productivity by spoiling plants. The methods of fighting are quite simple. First of all, all affected plants must be removed, and then weeds and debris must be removed from the garden.

The main disease that also harms the plant is nematode. This virus lives deep in the soil and can become active during the growing season of plants. To prevent this, you need to treat the soil with special fungicides before planting. You can find them in garden stores.

Advantages and disadvantages

Lisa is popular with beginners, as well as owners of large farms. And all thanks to the unpretentiousness, ease of cultivation, and beauty of the tomato. Main characteristics loved by gardeners:

  1. The fruits ripen in open ground. This is a big advantage over greenhouse bushes. A greenhouse takes up a lot of space and requires financial investment and maintenance. This is not suitable for all gardeners. Buying a greenhouse is not profitable for a novice gardener. The Lisa variety is recommended for open plantings; it feels comfortable in the fresh air.
  2. Unpretentiousness. The bushes withstand the vagaries of nature. They rarely get sick and have strong immunity.
  3. Plants take up little space due to the dense planting allowed. It is allowed to place up to 6 bushes on one square meter.
  4. High yield. One plant bears up to 2 kg of fruit. This is above average. Tomatoes ripen quickly.
  5. The fruits of the variety differ in the same size. The skin is dense, without cracks or dark spots. For their versatility and presentation, these tomatoes are loved by farms and large-scale production. Ordinary housewives also rejoice in the beauty of vegetables. Tomatoes are easy to preserve. They tolerate transportation well due to their elastic skin.

There are few disadvantages, they can be easily avoided by following the care recommendations. Disadvantages include:

  1. Branches and stems may break off under the weight of the tomato. If you violate the advice on plant formation and tying, then this disaster will not be avoided. There are a lot of tomatoes on one branch, the bunch is powerful and heavy. The plant may not be able to withstand the weight of the fruit if measures are not taken.
  2. The fruits ripen at the same time. This shortens the harvest time.

These are all the nuances, there are very few of them, they will not cause much inconvenience. And numerous advantages completely cover them.

Features of cultivation and storage

They are transplanted to the beds at the age of 50-60 days. Place 4 bushes per 1 m2.

Features of agricultural technology

High plant productivity depends on strict adherence to agricultural technology. The manufacturer suggests growing bushes in the garden in open ground.

Attention! Planting in a greenhouse will not cause harm if you remember to ventilate it often and beware of high humidity.

For the Lisa tomato variety, follow the recommendations:

  1. The bushes are formed into two stems. Up to 13 fruits ripen on one branch. Even though the stems are thick, this may not be enough. Form them in pairs, then you can avoid fractures.
  2. The above species has spreading branches; provide support for them.
  3. We remove excess foliage.
  4. Tomatoes are resistant to various natural conditions, but stagnation of moisture in the soil is detrimental to the root system of a garden crop. To avoid bush disease, the soil is thoroughly loosened.
  5. Particular attention should be paid to fertilizing. A successful harvest depends on this. The favorites of this type of tomato are potassium and phosphorus. Before use, carefully read the instructions on the package.

Please note that there are few requirements for agricultural technology, all of them are easy to apply in practice. By following them, you will reap healthy, tasty fruits.

Reviews from gardeners

The Lisa tomato variety is good for beginning vegetable growers. It collects a large number of positive reviews. Here are some of them:

  • Anna Makarovna from Pyatigorsk shares her impressions after the first harvest: “Lisa bought tomato seeds last year to try. I had never met them before or simply didn’t pay attention. I received an amazingly beautiful collection. Tomatoes look great in jars. The main thing is that they are absolutely not capricious in their care. I will plant more!”
  • An entrepreneur from Belogorsk shares his experience: “I have a small farm. We grow our own vegetables, process them and supply them to local stores. We have been planting the Lisa tomato variety for several years now. Previously, there were always problems with transportation. Either the fruits are tasty, but crush; or they tolerate the road well in boxes, but are bland. With this variety we managed to find a middle ground. The tomatoes grow beautiful and juicy. We sell it fresh and process it into tomato paste. I recommend!"

Lisa is an excellent choice for tomato growers. By following all the tips, you will get an enviable harvest. Reviews from those who have already tried this variety confirm the above.

Fruit characteristics

Let's collect medium-sized fruits. You see that in the upper part the fruits look well-ripened, but in the lower part they are not yet. Be sure to water so that the tomatoes are constantly watered. You see how good the pour is. Ripe fruits are already beginning to take on color. In the lower zone they gain mass, fill out, and until the very end they almost also acquire fruits close to their final size.

So, let's weigh not the largest, but medium-sized fruits, say, three pieces. Brushes, by the way, can be different. They can be simple, they can be semi-complex. So, let's weigh it. Amazing. 55 grams. Consider, almost 18 grams each fruit. With such large clusters, on which about 20 or even more fruits are formed, this is generally not so bad, because one cluster is somewhere around 350-400 grams. And if you get about a dozen of them on your plants, then the harvest is very decent.

Those of you who have been familiar with this hybrid for a long time know that it originally looked a little different. It still had a lemon-yellow color. But we, changing the attitude towards diseases, making the plant stronger, even tried to change the color, and it became more saturated, and, in my opinion, more interesting.

Remember this hybrid called cherry "Lisa".
I swear to you that not only you will like it, but also your children and grandchildren, and neighbors, and relatives, and loved ones. Everyone will be delighted. So don’t forget the name of this tomato of this hybrid – cherry “Lisa”. Link to video “THE SWEETEST “CHERRY LISA F1″”

Nuances in care

The “Lisa” variety is responsive to proper care. Primary requirements:

  1. Formation of a plant in the amount of a pair of stems. This will prevent the possibility of cracking.
  2. Regular, moderate watering, it is important to avoid waterlogging of the soil.
  3. Fertilizer application - many years of practice have shown that this variety especially loves nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizing.
  4. It is imperative to tie the bushes to a support to keep the stem intact. The fruits of the variety are quite heavy. Therefore, this is the first thing you should pay attention to.

The variety belongs to the determinant type, so it is necessary to carry out pinching and remove excess foliage and branches.

Taking into account all the features of care that do not require much time and effort, you can get a high-quality harvest. It is suitable for both sale and home use.
